Opera Queensland is delighted to share that the Festival of Outback Opera will return to Winton and Longreach in 2027!

Promising another unforgettable celebration of music, culture and community in the heart of outback Queensland. The week-long lineup in 2027 will feature the following headline events:

Tue 11 May: Festival Opening and touring show in Winton

Thu 13 May: Dark Sky Serenade in Winton

Fri 14 May: Long Lunch in Winton

Sat 15 May: Singing in the Night in Longreach

Sun 16 May: Opera Ball in Longreach

This is the first release of signature festival events, with more concerts and experiences to be announced. Information on exclusive tour packages, which include access to all major events, will also be available.
