The Open Door was originally opened as a Foster home in April 1967 until the 80’s, since then it’s been a backpackers hostel, B&B, family home hosting many visitors throughout the past 50 years. The bedroom and kitchen are spacious areas fully equipt. The improvements to the bedroom have made the area light and spacious. The kitchen is equipt with a stove/oven and the necessary appliances found in most kitchens. We place a welcome breakfast pack in fridge. Swimming pool. Access to laundry is available on request washing pods available for a small fee.

We are a fully operational sheep station offering rustic yet very comfortable shearing quarters accomodation to suit singles, couples or families. We do not have disable access facilities at this stage. Shared bathrooms, kitchen and laundry facilities at the quarters. Each room has its own air-conditioning. Authentic, traditional shearing quarters within walking distance to homestead and private airstrip. Fire pit, swimming pool, deck, garden and tennis court available for use.
