This BnB is a 5-10 walk from the shops and restaurants, close enough to the action for convenience but far enough away to feel secluded.

Welcome to our very pretty, very comfortable home with everything you need for a relaxing stay. A fully equipped kitchen, stylish bedrooms, incredibly comfy sofas, and a backyard for the kids. Emu Cottage is a quick and easy walk to the CBD – the location is a treat, with both supermarkets just a block and a half away. Got kids? We’re also just a few doors up from the skate park, so they can burn off some energy if you’ve had a day in the car.

The Open Door was originally opened as a Foster home in April 1967 until the 80’s, since then it’s been a backpackers hostel, B&B, family home hosting many visitors throughout the past 50 years. The bedroom and kitchen are spacious areas fully equipt. The improvements to the bedroom have made the area light and spacious.  This is the perfect base for your trip to Longreach.

We are a fully operational sheep station offering rustic yet very comfortable shearing quarters accomodation to suit singles, couples or families. We do not have disable access facilities at this stage. Shared bathrooms, kitchen and laundry facilities at the quarters. Each room has its own air-conditioning. Authentic, traditional shearing quarters within walking distance to homestead and private airstrip. Fire pit, swimming pool, deck, garden and tennis court available for use.

Perfect venue for a larger group looking for a farmstaycation.
